Very good

Liked: Very nice place to stay and dog friendly
Disliked: The noise late at night from the bar .but that was to be expected

A really pleasant stay, with...

Liked: Greeted with a cheerful welcome, and shown to the room. Given excellent information on facilities, and on entering the pub after hours. It was a nice size room with plenty of space and the bed was perfect. The full English Breakfast was well cooked and presented, and complemented with a choice of cereals and juices.
Disliked: There's nothing I didn't like about The Queen's Arms.

Exceptional

A nice place to stay...

Liked: I really enjoyed my stay—the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were absolutely amazing, always kind and helpful.
Disliked: The only downside was that the pipes made very loud noises around midnight and again early in the morning between 5–6am, which disturbed my sleep a bit. Hopefully, this can be looked into because everything else was great!

Lovely quiet little pub perfect...

Liked: The beds were very comfortable, the shower was very refreshing, the pub was in a nice quiet location which gave me the chance to explore Old Glossop and the countryside around it. The staff were very friendly and helpful such as the kind girl who organised a taxi for me back to the train station, ( sorry its took me so long to do this), i really cant find fault :)
Disliked: There was nothing that i didnt like it really was perfect for what I needed

Liked: First issue no parking. Pot luck on local streets,which got very busy on Saturday. Staff efficient but not particularly friendly or interested in visiting people. 2 steep flights of stairs up to the floor with the rooms on. Room great, slight overnight noise from a fan somewhere. No air-conditioning but streets quiet so no issues with having a window open. Breakfast a little disappointing. Paper tablecloths, soup spoons to eat fruit with, music on loud, cold room....not impressed. Cooked breakfast ok but nothing special. Great selection of well looked after ales but lots of screens showing non stop sport. Not my thing.

Disliked: restaurant menue was not to my liking, but breakfast was goo.
