Queen Kapiolani Hotel Waikiki

Very pleasant place to stay...

Liked: Lovely hotel, with welcoming, helpful staff and within a short walking distance of Waikiki Beach. The on-premise restaurant--the Deck--was very good.
Disliked: The on-premise breakfast cafe--Knot's Coffee Roasters--didn't have breakfast sandwiches for two mornings in a row.

Not a luxury resort but...

Liked: The beds, room size and the shower were all very good. We paid for a room without a seaview so cant complain about our view. We stayed here twice the first room had a balcony which was very good; staff were very good and responded rapidly to any requests we made. The water dispensers and the complimentary water bottles were well received. Ready availability of beach towels and beach chairs was a nice surprise.
Disliked: Thought that tea and coffee could have been supplied in the room as there was a jug and cups. During both our visits the hotel's coffee shop had issues with their expresso machine which was a little inconvenient but we found plenty of good coffee nearby,
