Excellent hotel would definitely come...

Liked: Rooms and hotel in general are very well decorated excellent facilities close to town staff were very helpful
Disliked: No aircon but probably because it’s a listed building and room was well ventilated so not really a problem

Great halfway stop from South...

Liked: Really friendly staff, spotlessly clean. Food was delicious in the restaurant...we had Carbonara and Steakhouse Salad. Continental Breakfast was lively and fresh. Boiled eggs were tge best I've eaten. Compliments to the Chef.Great to have free parking onsite too. Thank you, we will return. Great half way stop for us to Norwich.
Disliked: Be nice to have some bottled water in the room.

Restaurant was great... hotel, not...

Liked: Restaurant food was really, really goodContinental Breakfast goodRoom was cleanHousekeeping staff were lovely and helpful
Disliked: Room was tiny only just bigger than the bed ... Room booked was a deluxe double. TV wasn't working and was behind the door so you could only open the door to about two thirds of the way. The shower leaked and the bathroom smelled of damp. The tray with the kettle and cups was in the bottom of the open wardrobe as the room had no room for a table or shelf. Breakfast on the first day there were no staff around, no bowls, no spoons, no one to ask if anyone wanted any hot food. 3 separate guests rang the bell for someone to get cutlery etc and were ignored, 4th person actually went down to the kitchen. Bed linen was clean but the pillows smelled of sweaty head during the night so went and bought some pillows from Tesco. In summary Restaurant was great for lunch/dinner. Housekeeping lady was lovely and sorted the tvl. Hotel side of the business needs some updating and training.
