Very good
Liked: Bed was very comfy, room was a decent size.
Disliked: No hot water in morning, but understand it was a burst pipe. And the price was alot, but nice room and fieldays so maybe they were increased.

Liked: King bed was ultra comfortable and the spa bath perfect for 2
Disliked: Room needed some minor maintenance - vanity drain was clogged up a bit and the bodywash holder in the shower had come away from the wall and needed to be reattached

Liked: Its a nice place my family have been staying here for years
Disliked: We stayed for one night across two apartments, spending close to $1,000 for our whānau — expecting a comfortable, welcoming environment. Unfortunately, our experience the next day was anything but.Our tamariki had made a bit of a mess with food crumbs (as kids do), and we asked if there was a vacuum available to clean up ourselves — but none was provided. Instead of being offered understanding or support, we received a rude and abrupt text accusing us of leaving the place in a mess. We acknowledged the mess and immediately responded that we were just around the corner and happy to come back to clean properly if equipment was made available.I have been a cleaner before and understand how frustrating this can be so I really wanted to just come back and clean up while the kids go to the park with my partner.Despite our efforts to take responsibility and resolve the situation respectfully, we were met with hostility. The tone of the messages was unprofessional and dismissive, and we were told we were no longer welcome back. We were also charged an extra cleaning fee — on top of the significant amount we had already paid for the stay.To make things worse, I was even charged a smoking fee, despite the fact that I did not smoke on the property. I had a cigarette in my mouth (unlit) while leaving with my hands full — which apparently was enough to warrant a charge. When I asked for evidence or clarification, there was no further communication — just silence.This experience was upsetting and disappointing. We approached everything respectfully and offered to fix the issue. Instead, we were spoken to rudely, overcharged, and made to feel unwelcome. For the amount paid, we expected far better treatment — especially as a whānau travelling with young kids doing our best.
