Quality Suites Lake Wright Norfolk Airport

This hotel received an average rating because it is need of renovations. The wall paper was peeling in the bathroom. The rug had seen better days, and there was a small hole in the upholstery on the sofa. But, the layout of the hotel room was great. There was a small sitting area with a sofa, chair, desk, and TV. Then the bedroom was next with a door between the two rooms. There was another (smaller) TV in the bedroom. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast that was included was a full american breakfast cooked by a very nice older gentleman. The breakfast made the cost of the room a bargain. Would I stay again, yes! This was $50 cheaper than the hotel I usually stay. I hope renovations are planned in the near future. That would make this my hotel on every trip to Norfolk.

Disliked: Our sheets were dirty - I had to get clean sheets and remake the bed.

Disliked: The breakfast tasted like nothing was real. The eggs tasted like they were egg substitute and the sausage tasted like it was fake turkey sausage. The syrup made everyone's stomach hurt. The coffee was terrible.

Disliked: my room smell like mildew. My shower curtain had mold on it. The breakfast room while getting breakfast had a cockroach running where the food was at. I told the breakfast staff they act like they didn’t hear me and for smell, They gave me some spray and asked if I wanna change my room which I was already unloaded and was staying only for one night. I noticed the shower curtain had mold after I took a shower and they asked did I want to get a new shower curtain which I told them what would that due if I already took a shower that this should never happen that I shouldn’t have no dirty shower curtain and from the beginning and I also showed them the video of the shower curtain. having mold on it.
