I would stay again but...

Liked: Newly refurbished establishment
Disliked: The steps in front of the room to go up and down to the parking lot. They are not uniform in height and had to be very careful to avoid falling. The edges are not painted to alert you of another step . Included a picture showing how difficult to see steps

Overall pleasant for the one...

Liked: Very clean and everything looked new. Had a few stains on the bedding but nothing major.
Disliked: The bed was not comfortable i woke at 6am with a back ache.

NEVER AGAIN. DOES NOT DESERVE...

Liked: Close to the interstate.
Disliked: We had to pay a deposit. Nowhere on the website was a deposit mentioned when the reservation was made by credit card. The biggest problem we had was with the desk clerk. When we told him that our son did not have to pay a deposit, he told us we had to pay a deposit or we could cancel our reservation. We were aware of the cancelation policy, meaning we would have to pay for the room anyway, so we elected to stay. We feel my husband was discriminated because he wore a retired Army hat, had not shaved that day, and was in need of a haircut.

Liked: Easy and quick check in. Plenty of parking. Simple breakfast included. Close to interstate and restaurants. Competitive price. Friendly and supportive staff. Clean room. This is not a five star hotel, but you get way more for what you pay!
Disliked: Noisy due to immediate distance to main road.

Disliked: The screw up on the cost when I got there bc I was over charged and they said they adjusted it.

This hotel is extremely unprofessional...

Liked: The property is in a great location for a one night stay.
Disliked: The staff was very rude and discriminatory. The young lady that checked us in told my black son he couldn’t use the lobby restroom (which was just to the left of the entrance) stating it is for front desk staff only yet there was no signage anywhere stating this. When confronted about how a customer is supposed to know this with no clear signage, she stated “it just is”! She then followed us around to where our room was and as we were putting our luggage in the room we observed her straining to look into my son’s car as if trying to see what was in there. It was at this point we decided to find somewhere else to stay. We went to let her know we couldn’t stay, told her why and asked for a refund. She had to call the owner stating he was the only one who could approve the refund. Still waiting on the refund over a month later!
