Good

Liked: I liked it's proximity to businesses on Main St. and surrounding blocks. Once I arrive somewhere, I prefer not to have to get back in the car. I was able to walk to shops, a massage appointment, get food, and enjoy the beautiful sights of downtown Great Barrington—architecture, flower plantings, historic buildings with plaques commemorating important figures such as the Clinton A.M.E. Zion Church where W.E. Du Bois was active, free public drinking water, and including River Walk.
Disliked: There was a man in the very next room (even though the motel was not nearly full) who seemed a bit sketchy. Nothing happened, but as a woman traveling alone, that raises concern.

Very good

Liked: Great location! Right on the edge of the heart of GB. Very clean. The linens and curtains look and feel updated. The beds and pillows are extremely comfortable.
Disliked: We didn't bother with the meager and worn looking breakfast. Good thing GB is full of fantastic restaurants. The fixtures are old and the shower wasn't working quite properly, although we finally managed to get a usable stream. The TV is small if that matters to you, and there's only one usb port in the room.

Liked: Basic motel style accommodation, good for an overnight stop.Our room was spacious, a little dated but clean and comfortable. The hotel.us close to the town with plenty of shops and restaurants a short walk away.Breakfast was included but very basic and not much choice.
