Quality Inn Winkler

Disliked: The hotel burned down two months ago and neither Quality Inn nor Booking.com bothered to tell us. We pulled up to a pile of rubble. I appreciate that this is a minor inconvenience as compared to someone getting hurt in the fire or the complete loss of the business, but I thought there might be processes in place to advise booked guests that the reservation could not be completed.

Very comfortable, quiet and clean.

Liked: Breakfast was much better than the usual hotel fare.Especially happy there was no carpeting in the room, made the room feel much cleaner.
Disliked: No ice available

Liked: It was good. It's nice having breakfast included
Disliked: Only 2 pieces if Bacon with a Full breakfast. They skimp on the meat and give you way to many hashbrowns. My son 13 only got 1 piece of bacon.Also it's so annoying when you get to your room and both our keys didn't work. Wet from the pool and in a towel, I have to go to the front desk in my bathing suit. We were staying 2 more nights.
