Quality Inn & Suites On The Beach

Way overpriced. I paid $145. with taxes on ConcertHotels.com - a 70 dollar room at most. Old bed sheets, old comforter, old carpet. Smelled moldy - just painted over old room. They charge you more for a beach side room and really there is not anything worth it in the area. I have paid $145 in Austin Texas for a top of line hotel like Casulo, which is modern and new.

Liked: Close by to Concrete Ampitheatre, beach and aquarium.
Disliked: Old, moldy smelling.

Disliked: Room was disgusting and filthy. The bed was filthy and sank to the floor when we put our luggage on it. Other people who were staying at the hotel were having sex at the pool in front of children. Reported it to the front desk and they said “you are welcome to check out if you’d like” We left after being there for maybe 30 minutes.

Disliked: Our 1st room we were given upon arrival yesterday was so moldy we could not stay in it. Before we noticed the mold we found the tv did not work, bed was dirty, floors were filthy and more, confirmed by front desk. Then we were placed in 135. We found urine stains and other stains on the floor that was dirty and sandy. The blow dryer fell off the wall when we tried to use it. The shower handle came off in my hand along with no hot water.  Low water preasure and no hot water was also a problem in rooms they tried to move us to. Screws on top of desk that gouged the bottom of a leather purse. The problems were the same or worse in the 3 replacement rooms I was shown by the maintenance man that made me walk all over the property.  We tried upstairs and outside.

Liked: I loved that it was right on the beach, so anytime I wanted to walk down to the beach I only had to walk about 150 feet. The staff was great. The beds were comfortable.
Disliked: We stayed for 4 nights and 5 days and for most of our trip they had to open our doors for us because the key card machine wasnt working. The toilet in our bathroom leaked, the shower leaked, the ac didnt get very cold and we had to go buy a fan. The continental breakfast was very limited to waffles and cereal.
