Quality Inn & Suites North Charleston - Ashley Phosphate

The clerks up front were very rude and disrespectful. I'm positive that people who make reservations online like myself will only stay here once. The picture of the hotel online is very misleading; the rooms were dirty and old and roaches came out when I cut lights off. I wish I could have my $97 back on that one.

Liked: Location was great with surrounding restaurant and shopping options. Bed was somewhat comfy. Free Wifi worked great!
Disliked: Room was in poor condition, bed smelled of (weed) smoke in a non-smoking room, bathtub was disgusting, toilet ran non-stop, swimming pool out of order, and no working ice machine

Disliked: Regretfully I was shocked at the sight of the room. It looked like the room had not had a makeover in decades. The doors looked worn down and there were quite a few markings on them. The furniture looked to worn down - particularly the night stands and the lamp stand was rusted. The tub looked dirty because it was so worn down and the were several cigarette stains on it. It also looked like the floor had been swept and mopped. I was very disappointed as I’ve been to several Quality Inns over summer which had been remodeled, looked great.

Was a quick stay after...

Disliked: The property was dirty! There were homeless people I assume staying as their home. Toilet did not flush! Blood in bathtub, where I couldn’t even take a shower. Slept with my own pillow and blanket did not use blankets. Told this to the manager he was rude did not refund me, so I had to escalate my issue with booking. I do not recommend staying here!

Disappointing

Liked: It was cheaper than other places nearby. It was convenient to our path home-North. I could sleep in the bed; sheets were clean and bed was comfortable enough.
Disliked: Lumpy bed. Loud neighbors. In flight path. Unswept room. No rug-light shining in under door; Echo in the room. Questioned whether or not the tub was cleaned.

Disliked: The pictures I saw on the web did not match were I stayed the fridge and the a/c in our room didn't work they didn't decide to do anything about it until 1:30 in the morning then the room we were put had water all over the floor from a/c dripping also bathroom was soaked in water as well both rooms were sub par clean and the first one had pee on the seat when we got there

Disliked: there were bed bugs, too much bleach in pool, floors were dirty, beds too small, room smelt like smoke, and appalling people at midnight
