Quality Inn & Suites North Charleston - Ashley Phosphate

The clerks up front were very rude and disrespectful. I'm positive that people who make reservations online like myself will only stay here once. The picture of the hotel online is very misleading; the rooms were dirty and old and roaches came out when I cut lights off. I wish I could have my $97 back on that one.

Liked: Nothing.
Disliked: I checked in and went up to the room, which was absolutely disgusting. The front desk clerk agreed to give me a full refund, which several weeks later I still have not received. We did not stay at all. We did not even bring our stuff in, thankfully. The pictures definitely did not match the hotel. There were burn holes in the bedding, mold on the ceiling, bathtub, and some of the corners. The room smelled like dog pee and weed. The carpet was in bad condition and clearly had not been vacuumed in quite some time. The bathroom looked like it had not been cleaned properly in quite some time, either. Terrible experience.

Liked: The woman who worked the front desk was great.
Disliked: We didn’t have a remote control to the tv, there was no phone in our room. The restroom light wouldn’t come on.

Disliked: The quality of guests, everything is very old in the rooms; it needs renovating. No towels in the room at check in; the mattress was old. The bed platform was noisy; the bedspread was very wrinkled, the iron in the room didn’t work, and it was very old.
