Liked: Close to the airport.....10 minutes drive
Disliked: Frankly there really wasn't much to like. It was just a hotel to get a few hours of sleep before boarding and early flight the next morning. It was interesting that this was a relatively new hotel a block away from where we used to work 15 years ago and it hadn't been built.Heard that aircraft landing at Pearson couldn't be heard as posted by a prior customer. We suspected that that prior customer didn't have aircraft arriving onto Runway 6 Left Or Runway 6 Right....which landing flight path is directly over the hotel. (unusual......but the prevailing winds that night were N and NNW). Fortunately, there was only about 80 flights arriving between 9 pm and 2 am...the last flight of the nightArrived the early evening.....we don't know if the desk clerk was just annoyed with the two early 20's girls complaining about there not being a good location to record their latest tiktok video, or the mild disagreement with another patron who was literally receiving a lecture from the clerk. We didn't bother to ask.We said "good evening...we have a booking""Last name, credit card, identification...."(okayyyyyyy)"Do you need me to put my vehicle license in your register here (pointing to the register on the desk""No""Does it matter where we park?""No, park anywhere...you're in Room 2XX" With that, we parked, grabbed our luggage, proceeded to our room after passing the two girls now recording their TikTok video at the side of the hotel.Up to the second floor and down to the far end......passing by several rooms with active LOUD conversations.Room was fine for the purpose (a short sleep).....on the positive side, LOTS of TV channels to choose from.Not the cleanest or most fire-safe hotel we've stayed in, and clearly a lackluster maintenance program (see photos),Woke up the next morning, readied for our flight.
