Quality Inn & Suites Matteson near I-57

Rate was low in comparison to the other hotels in the area (we were there for a concert). We were very happy with our stay.

Liked: Our room was clean with the exception of something greasy looking on one of the headboards.
Disliked: Kind of hard to find - could use some better signage as you are coming off the highway. I spent 10 minutes waiting to get checked in and 2 different people called to find out how to get there.

Never again

Liked: Didn’t eat breakfast
Disliked: The smell of the room, the overpriced holding deposit, the raggedy elevators and the over all outdated appliances.

My family disappointed

Liked: Nothing.
Disliked: This hotel smells really bad, a very loud odor, the staff was rude, very unprofessional, room phone didn't work, the tv remote didn't work, the towels smell like the hotel, I checked out and made reservation at a different hotel. My family was in town for a funeral. Other family members stayed and were disappointed as well.

Liked: Clean!
Disliked: Breakfast was very minimal. Juice seemed watered down.

It was a good stay

Liked: It was within 20 minutes of my job site. I am working three hours away from home. My biggest concern is how bad Booking.com is going to hit my credit card for using their service of finding the hotel.
Disliked: Property was fine. I stayed in better, I’ve stayed in worse. I am really glad my vehicle didn’t get broken too, like it was at a different place down the road a couple years ago.

Very painful

Liked: My Daughter got ate up by bed bugs from head to her legs the front desk clerk said I will receive a full refund then tried to trick me with a receipt that said a balance of $97 but said that balance wasn't mines on the receipt but eventually gave me a receipt of $0 balance I do NOT have time nor money to waist I also have pictures
Disliked: The fact my Daughter face looks horrible and the front desk clerk tried to play me like a fool and we couldn't continue our stay for them days

Convenient for the reasoning being...

Liked: Right off the expressway and its surrounded by every thing you need, food, shopping,etc
Disliked: They didn’t ask me this the last time I was there ( maybe because it was a terrible experience) but I will say this time was okay. Make staff seemed annoyed but I was only there for less than 14hrs. My previous experience was terrible, due to the maintenance lady attempting to steal my Apple Watch. I left it in the room. Realized it almost an hour or so when I checked out. I get there and the manager says no she said she didn’t see it. I say that can’t be right I don’t have it. I say I remember the lady face because she was next door after I left my room. She comes off the elevator and I say that’s her. And proceeds to ask did she see it. She acts like she doesn’t know English then. I get upset because I’m knowing she lying so I say. Well my find me is saying that it’s here and now I’m going to call the police and have them get it since you all are stealing from me. She mysteriously say ohh watch and without digging on the cart she pulls it out and say here. Smh. The manager just looked at me. But that wasn’t okay and this isn’t the first time their staff attempted to steal. And are unapologetic
