Quality Inn & Suites Green Bay Downtown

We attended a venue at the Meyer Theatre and wanted to stay "close". This hotel was perfect! We did a little walking but it was a dry, beautiful summer night. Parking for the theatre can be closer, but we enjoyed the walk! Also, the Fox Harbor Pub was recomended by the desk clerk, and it was awesome.

Liked: The cleanliness was so appreciated. The staff was very helpful with everything! The morning breakfast was fantastic and Joanne (staff) was amazing! Her courteous and pleasing personality was "a step above"! She helped the families with children, interacted so well with everyone else, and kept the supplies from running low. She was a very special lady.
Disliked: I guess, if I had to say "something", it would be that the Hotel needs updating, and the rooms remodeled with paint and color.

So disappointed in the property.

Liked: First of all, the front desk people were fantastic...10+. The first room we had was next to the pool. It was humid and very loud as people came in and out the pool doors. So, we requested a different room and moved to a room on the second floor which was much better humidity and noise-wise. It was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was a good size, and there was no carpet, which was good.
Disliked: Outside of the room, the carpets were dirty, different areas in the hallway smelled bad (incl. the smell of marijuana in different sections), and by the entrance doors the areas were riddled with stinky cigarette butts. I got the impression that this might be a longer term voucher motel by what I saw when walking one of the rooms where the door was ajar (it was filthy). I don't think I would've felt very safe if I was there without my husband. Overall, I would not return. The owners need to take pride in the property and maintain it properly. It could be very nice. Also the toilet in our room didn't flush properly unless you held the handle down for a long time and our bathroom sink didn't drain properly. The owners can definitely do better. It is not at all what pictures depict. I feel bad leaving a negative review because the employees were so nice to us, but I feel I need to report what we experienced..

Not happy.

Liked: The floor color was nice. Nice TV, but not centered. Big pool, but didn't get to use.
Disliked: Floor wasn't swept, cobwebs all over ceiling a d hanging from ceiling, bathtub was backed up so we had standing water. Sheets had li t on them, Beds were hard and moved when u sat on them or moved in them. It was loud scrapping when they moved. The walls were splattered with stains. The bathroom looked like it had work done but was rushed and not professional.

Good value

Liked: The indoor pool and game room. The location was awesome! 10 minutes or less from everything.
Disliked: The breakfast. Same minimal options everyday. Parking was good during the week, but got full on the weekend.
