Racist and sexist staff left...

Liked: Nothing. Please avoid. Rude and discriminatory staff
Disliked: I arrived at quality inn and suites and around 10 pm. The guy at the front desk had brown skin and dark hair and eyes. Not sure where he was from but he had an accent. No name tag. Around 35 years old.He seemed to had taken forever with the guy in front of me. But by the time it was my turn, I told him I had a reservation, and gave him my number. He handed over the machine to make a payment of $220 (deposit included.)I entered the wrong PIN. He took the machine back. He said: “do you even have money.” Not sure if it was because I’m female or indigenous or both. Anyway, I was offended of course, I said: “of course I have money let me try again.” Both my parter and I have government jobs and mortgage a house. He entered my visa manually. Of course it goes through. I said: “what’s your name”. He said: why? I said I just need to know your name. He kept saying why?I said “nevermind give me my receipt”. He held it close to him saying: “no.” I asked again and he kept saying no. I called my partner who’s in Yellowknife. Curtis talks to him and the staff member accused ME as being the rude one and the staff dude said I have to find somewhere else to stay. Curtis tells me to call the cops as I paid for the hotel and now they’re telling me to leave.I called 911. The female worker I guess got a phone call from my man and she took the staff member aside. He sat in the corner as if he was hiding as I called the cops.I asked the lady for a refund as I wouldn’t feel safe with a guy who flew off the handle after I asked for his name and receipt after he made a discriminatory comment.She kindly gave me a receipt and voided receipt to show my card hasn’t been charged. I asked for when the manager is back. She said at 7 am and gave me a card fo the manager. So I’ll go there in the morning. This is another human rights complaint. Glad these hotels are everywhere so I just got a room somewhere else. Quality Inn & Suites Edmonton International Airport

Liked: Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. We had connected rooms for us and the kids, which was great but the doors stuck horribly between them. It was quiet, and we enjoyed the breakfast.
Disliked: The shower heads need a serious upgrade.

Shuttle Service 24/7

Liked: Shuttle from airport at 3 am
Disliked: There was some confusion about the shuttle before we arrived in Edmonton. It was impossible yo talk to a real person.
