William, Marinette, visiting Meyer Theatre Tue, 23 August 2022

We attended a venue at the Meyer Theatre and wanted to stay "close". This hotel was perfect! We did a little walking but it was a dry, beautiful summer night. Parking for the theatre can be closer, but we enjoyed the walk! Also, the Fox Harbor Pub was recomended by the desk clerk, and it was awesome.

Liked: The cleanliness was so appreciated. The staff was very helpful with everything! The morning breakfast was fantastic and Joanne (staff) was amazing! Her courteous and pleasing personality was "a step above"! She helped the families with children, interacted so well with everyone else, and kept the supplies from running low. She was a very special lady.
Disliked: I guess, if I had to say "something", it would be that the Hotel needs updating, and the rooms remodeled with paint and color.

Clean, comfortable and a FABULOUS...

Liked: The pool area is charming - like the Holiday Inn resorts of the 70s - it's very well maintained and just retro yummy. And there's an arcade! I felt like an 8 year old on a family vacay
Disliked: We were right by the pool and the kiddos start early so if you don't want to be awoken by high pitched screaming request a room farther away. (Personally I loved being by the poolside)I was granted a late checkout but the front desk called to sort of push us out and I didn't like that but it's a very minor thing.To be frank this is a very moderately priced property in an urban area and while I felt perfectly safe just be aware of your neighbors.If you are looking for an affordable place to stay in a great location that's clean this is the spot!And if you ❤️ well maintained vintage travel architecture YOU HAVE TO stay by the pool. Grab a 50s swimsuit, some big shades and a get your poolside beehive groove on before some corporate lackey turns it into a conference room...
