Quality Inn & Suites Decatur - Atlanta East

Overall I was pleased with this hotel. Manager very efficient and caring to assist with my needs to get groceries. He went above and beyond to help.

Liked: Very efficient check in. Manager went out of his way to help me get groceries near by. The room had a funny smell. Carpets definitely need replacing. Bed very comfortable. quiet room at night. Breakfast disappointing. They had coffee brewing all day which I liked.
Disliked: Poor quality carpets; curtain rods broken. Breakfast sub standard. I feel the damage deposit should be included in total fees upfront; not after you arrive and they automatically take it off your card.

Although the room was low...

Liked: The waffle maker was nice, could have been cleaner. The refrigerator appeared to be culturing the yogurts. It was warmer inside of it than room temperature. Toaster was non functional. The orange juice was good, but mislabeled apple juice. There were no bugs during our stay, and the beds were comfortable.
Disliked: The selection of bread was just a few slices of white bread,no toppings other than the warm butter packets in the refrigerator. Several bagels were in the case, and appeared to be the same ones during our 4 day stay. The coffee was undrinkable with only half and half or milk available to add, and a couple of packets of sugar/ artificial sweetener. The muffins were prepackaged and one variety. Two unlabeled types of dry cereal were in a dispenser that held three containers. The room was only available for 2/12 hours, and could only be entered with a room card. The door stuck, and we had to open it for other people to enter. The room was unattended, poorly stocked, and there was nothing available to clean up spills. We saw several people come in, look around and leave. The room showed quite a few signs of wear , No pamphlets to explain how to use the phone. furniture was dented and or scratched, and crumbs were in the microwave cabinet. Two very small waste baskets were inadequate, and the one day I had room service, I was questioned about the big towel, which wasn't furnished to me.

Trap house/drug dealers

Liked: Nothing but drug dealers there, and the people who own it are thieves. They stole my keys and told me I couldn’t look at the camera strongly believing that they were trying to steal my SUV. But GOD!!! Please do not come here we only stay one night. They did not reimburse us our money for the second night we left because they was trying to rob us basically for our vehicle. It is a set up
Disliked: The owners are Indians of some sort of culture and they are really creepy the way they watch you and look at you like they’re going to snatch you up

Kaloni'z Stay

Liked: The staff was friendly and funny
Disliked: No indoor pool like most quality inn's but still really nice

Passable

Liked: The street it was located on was good. It was away from all the busy activity on Panola Road.
Disliked: Elevator wasnt working but overall it was decent for last minute booking.
