Disliked: The outside grounds were not kept up - weeds and cigarette butts; needed cleaning around edges.

We stayed at Days Inn Portland South on March 15th and attended the Big Daddy Weave concert. Excellent experience.
Liked: Pleasant staff; clean room; so enjoyable.

Adequate but not impressive.
Liked: Location - close to family.
Disliked: The tub was in rough shape and not thoroughly cleaned. Also the bathroom floor. Dirt and dead spider behind the door.

Overall good value, and clean....
Liked: Great location. The place was quiet and clean.
Disliked: The shower was broken and only spitting out hot water. Upon complaining, we were told they would have moved us, but they were out of rooms, which was understandable. The shower was fixed on the last day of our stay. Things happen, and the staff tried to be as helpful as possible; it was just hard not to be able to shower or bathe our small child for a few days.

It's expensive for the age...
Liked: Staff was friendly. We got housekeeping service when we asked. The breakfast was hot and had plenty of choices, even on weekdays.
Disliked: Two disabled men - my husband and another fellow on two canes - were put very far from the front desk/lobby. This required a LOT of effort by both of them to get to their rooms. The walk in shower bathroom door constantly settles in a place that makes the room hard to use and the full size bed was a tight fit for 2.

The worst place I have...
Liked: The breakfast was good
Disliked: An accessible room that really is accessible (third floor with a long walk to the elevator and a long walk from the elevator). Lack of staff to help, room way to tiny for a handicapped room, glass wall at end of shower is visually dangerous, bathroom tile floor slippery, no grab bars to get out of shower, shower curtain is a joke, shower chair tiny and low, no usb ports, microwave was unplugged, television is on door light switch...this needs to be noted.
