Disappointing

Disliked: We arrived late at night, the front desk staff person was no where to be found. After waiting quite a while, I used my phone to call the hotel and he answers from a dead sleep. Finally, he emerges to help us and is quite short with us as he is clearly not happy with our late arrival that woke him to come and perform his job. We had the same experience the next day... No one around to help us at the front desk. Where is the staff at this place?

Liked: The room was large and fairly comfortable.
Disliked: Wallpaper peeling off the walls in the lift. Bugs and insects all over the floors. Breakfast was awful, not even a knife to spread butter. Hardly ever any coffee in the machine. Lots of stuff always running out and staff very uninterested when asked about it. Location is terrible for anything, yes I could see it, however being a foreign tourist, I wasn't aware of how bad the transport links out of the city are, but that is a lesson learned. The pool looked like it had never been cleaned so stayed away from that. The vending machines were outrageously overpriced and the drink one didn't work at all.

Overall, not bad.

Liked: Breakfast okay, security was strange. No one at counter all the time we were there. People came in and out. We needed toilet paper and I waited at counter until I saw a white buzzer, not knowing what it was, I pressed it and minutes later a gentleman came out and gave the paper. They were nice and it was quiet. I would stay there again because it was very clean and other customers were friendly.
Disliked: Lack of people being vigilant, security. Press here for service buzzer would be nice.Also, not getting a receipt at checkout. Said they would email the receipt, but I haven't received it.

Disliked: House keeping needs training we were still in the room had 2hrs still before check out n house keeping lady just went n opened our room cause she was going too clean it already.
