Liked: Actually, there was ONLY reason why we stayed after we arrived & saw the condition of your hotel- including curb appeal, let alone the rooms. It was FRIGHTENING & a disgrace in advertising Binghamton & Vestal as an area to visit. The ONLY reason we did not look for other accommodations that evening was because of SHARIF & we had a late arrival & possibly couldn’t find other accommodations. So because of him & his assurances of meeting our needs he convinced us to give it a chance. He should be applauded for his courtesy, customer service & willingness to manage a facility such as yours. The Quality Inn Corp should be ashamed to advertise what they do & encourage people to stay there. We were actually frightened for our safety, disgusted with the condition, cleanliness & upkeep (lack of upkeep!) by your Corporation, NOT Sharif’s management! We slept in our clothes, including shoes! & wouldn’t even walk on the filthy carpeting or disgusting bathroom floors without them. The rooms were dark, reeked with many disgusting smells, had mold everywhere including the air conditioner along with muddy nests from some insect in them. The bedspreads had cigarette burn holes in them & were dated…back into the 1960’s!! The bathroom was SOOOO disgusting that health concerns were evident everywhere! By the way- ONLY HOT water in the bathroom, INCLUDING THE TOILET!! Think about using that! You ask about the “breakfast” ? Revolting, NOT nutritional AT ALL! Just empty calories so Quality Inn could say that they serve “breakfast”.In good conscience, we could NEVER recommend THIS hotel to ANYONE & now will question any of the possibilities to stay at any other Quality Inn chains.
