For a hotel that is right off I-25, one mile from Sandia Casino, I would think the owners would want to make a great impression on guests to further a stay there. The interior carpets in hallways and bedrooms were so worn you could see the burlap backing. The ice machine did not work and by the looks of it, if it did, it would be a health issue. One of the rooms we had had no shower curtain. We were there 2 nights - 2nd night still no curtain. Great location for the Casino - went to a concert there; cheap rate at hotel, but I would stay there after a sprucing up and pay an extra $20 a night.

Liked: Close to Sandia Casino.
Disliked: This hotel needs to spend some money in replacing the hallway carpets, ice maker, and room couch's and carpet.

Liked: The welcome and available parking.
Disliked: It smell like wet dog as we enter the room, No window screen, the shower head was loose shooting water out on the ceiling, mattress was lumpy, breakfast was awful.

Disliked: Mattress was cheaply made. Bed was not comfortable. It appears that they don’t wash the mattress pad between guests.

Possibly one of the worst...

Liked: I enjoyed the front desk staff.
Disliked: The TV didn't work, pool was dirty, breakfast was lackluster, but the worst of all was how dirty the room was. Makeup stains on the pillows and sheets. Indicating they were NOT changed. I had to ask front desk for clean sheets and I changed the bedding myself. Also, there was a huge puddle of water on the floor when we came in. I had to dry that up as well.
