For a hotel that is right off I-25, one mile from Sandia Casino, I would think the owners would want to make a great impression on guests to further a stay there. The interior carpets in hallways and bedrooms were so worn you could see the burlap backing. The ice machine did not work and by the looks of it, if it did, it would be a health issue. One of the rooms we had had no shower curtain. We were there 2 nights - 2nd night still no curtain. Great location for the Casino - went to a concert there; cheap rate at hotel, but I would stay there after a sprucing up and pay an extra $20 a night.

Liked: Close to Sandia Casino.
Disliked: This hotel needs to spend some money in replacing the hallway carpets, ice maker, and room couch's and carpet.

Soft mattresses but otherwise a...

Liked: 1. Pet fee of 10.00 per pet was lovely and we did not mind the deposit which was refunded the next day. 2. Breakfast was lovely. 3. Extra towels provided, no problem. 4. We were reserved a ground floor room which is a must for us if there are no elevators. We are in our 70"s and cannot do flights of stairs. 5. The room was near our parking spot which we loved. 6. Everything was clean. 7. Refrigerator was large, hurray! 8. And microwave and ice machine worked, another YAY. 9. It was quiet, a wonderful bonus.
Disliked: Other things made it hard. 1.The location was several miles past our connection to 40W. We had to double back to it, and the GPS confused us;--next time we will know better. (not your fault) 2. The bathtub had no plug and I need to soak in hot baths for therapy. All bathtubs should have a working plug!!! 3. The mattresses were soft. I tossed and turned all night and only got 3 hours sleep and awoke exhausted. Firmer mattresses are a MUST.

Disliked: No elevator. Had to haul heavy suitcases up the stairs. The hotel had uncomfortable beds and pillows. Mattresses are in need of replacement. Facility was very dirty. Very noisy. No outside smoking areas or places to gather to visit with other family members during stay. Parking was a problem. Worst Quality Inn I have experienced. Would not recommend.
