Days Inn by Wyndham Penn State

When we arrived the lady (wish I remembered her name) at the check in desk was so nice and helpful. It was so refreshing to be greeted by someone who appeared to like her job! She was really a fun person, you're lucky to have her. The lady that took care of breakfast was also very friendly and helpful, nice person to start the morning off. I didn't meet anyone else - I hope your other staff are like these two women. Please let them know how much they are appreciated and not taken for granted, need more people like them in this business!

Clean, comfortable and reasonable place...

Liked: Location was great. The facilities were clean and tidy. The staff was friendly.
Disliked: Breakfast was lacking more healthy options. Only apples were offered as fruit.

Liked: Very clean, worth the price, friendly staff
Disliked: Parking. If the hotel parking spaces are full in the front you might have to park down the hill which is a small inconvenience, unless you want to risk being towed parking at the bank beside it. Breakfast is on the smaller side but still a good variety.

Ok place near Penn State...

Liked: Good location just 8 minute drive from the East side of Penn State campus. Easy to find. Close to grocery stores and other shopping. Easy parking.
Disliked: This hotel seems like it needs some refurbishment. Beds were very soft and not comfortable. I should have looked closer, but the two beds were full size and not queen. The frame around the mirror in the bathroom was cracked and broken. When we woke up the first morning, there were ants all over the desk where a few crumbs had been left the night before. The breakfast was really sparse and not great.

Property has good aspects and...

Liked: Property was close to restaurants, shops and college.
Disliked: It could use some updates like fans in the bathrooms to keep the mirror unfogged. The beds were also very hard.
