Surprisingly good for the price

Liked: Room was clean and well-stocked. The staff was very friendly - at check-in, check-out, and in the middle of the night when my key got demagnetized. At the price point, I was worried about how nice it would be, and it ended up surprisingly nice.
Disliked: Only things you would expect from this price point - things are aging, carpet has some minor set stains (though definitely cleaned and vacuumed), towels aren't very nice, juice machine was broken.

Great stay, great accommodation.

Disliked: The reception area and the dining room of this hotel have been upgraded a little and are attractive. The rooms are clean but we had a blood stained duvet and had to use it for a few days as we checked in too late to get a clean one. It was so horrible but what could we do as over the weekend there seemed to be no cleaning crew. Finally on Monday a cleaning person came around and it was a great relief to get a clean duvet. The hotel is very dirty. It could use a deep clean. The pool has dirt in the bottom, and everywhere in the pool area there is dirty scum on the tiles. The hot tub is also in need of refurbishing. The hallway walls are in need of repairing and painting. In Room 125 there is a person who comes in with white clay on his shoes and you can see exactly what room he is in. None is around to sweep this up. It is very discouraging. In the parking lot there are piles of cigarette butts. If they take the time to gather the butts why don't they take the extra five minutes to throw them away? In addition there is trash around the hotel. It is all so gross. Also, at the doorways the mats are really worn and old. It looks as if the management uses very little of the profits to do some simple spiffing up of the place. The reception people are very kind and friendly but I feel sorry for them having to work in a cruddy environment like this hotel. We booked to find out how the hotel was. We will not be staying there again.

Liked: Front desk was super friendly and helpfil
Disliked: Red stains on the carpeting, door lock had 3 screws missing and would swing open. If I was a single female traveling like I usually am I would not have stayed and asked for a different room. Smoke alarm started beeping right before going to bed, had to go to front desk for a battery and change ourselves. Beds were super uncomfortable, hard to get a good night sleep

Will never stay here again.

Disliked: Filthy rooms, dirty bathroom walls, comforter, sheets and couch were stained and filthy. Bed had a mattress topper o be it that was too small and a sheet that was too big and the filthy mattress keep getting exposed.
