Liked: Close enough to Marshall and Firekeepers . I did like the pool right in front of hotel lobby
Disliked: Old, needs updates . Our room had that bleach / cleaning smell. Our carpet seemed damp.. Definitely had to wear shoes

I will not stay here...
Liked: I have stayed here before, and it was ok. I like the location, it's convenient to my work and restaurants.
Disliked: When I made the reservation online, I asked for ground floor. When I checked in, she said there were no more rooms on the first floor with 2 beds. But then she found a room, on the first floor. Thank goodness.When my coworker and I were in the room, I used the toilet and it overflowed onto the floor. That's when I discovered we did not have enough towels, so I called the front desk. I asked for a mop, but she did not have one, she thought it was on the 2nd floor. I went to the front desk where she gave me towels for the floor. She brought the plunger for me and more towels, but she said she could not use it (the plunger), and that maintenance will be there in the morning. There was no maintenance on this Wednesday at 7 pm. I used the plunger, and the toilet looked ok, so I flushed it, to check it, and it overflowed again. So when we wanted to use a toilet, we went to use the one by the front desk. The next morning, we did not use the shower because the floor was not clean.We went to work, and when we returned, maintenance had fixed the toilet, thank you! I still tried to not use it, how could I trust it?The bathroom floor still had all of the towels, so housekeeping had not come to our room. I went to the front desk for a bag for the dirty towels, a can of Lysol to spray on the floor and wipe it down, and asked for the correct towels for us to use. We tried to use the internet for work and discovered the internet did not work well. I went to use the internet in the breakfast area for about an hour until 10:15 pm. The internet worked better in my room from 6 to 7:15 am.The rest of the weekend I tried to not use our bathroom and I was disappointed in the internet, but I kept trying. It's better at 6 am, but not at 5:30 am. I did some of my computer work at a restaurant because it was so much better than the hotel.This has been very frustrating.Is this because I booked online? Did I receive a lesser quality room because I used Booking.com?

Liked: The room was clean but needed updated.But over all it was a comfortable stay.
Disliked: The breakfast buffet wasn't kept up. Got coffee and left.

It was a great getaway...
Liked: Walking in, you could smell cleaner and a pool, so right away it gave a sense of cleanliness. The breakfast exceeded expectations. The staff was very prompt. The hot tub was very relaxing and the side patio was enjoyable to sit at. Our room was nice and cool and the bed was comfortable.
Disliked: I wish we had a smart TV in our room. It is a personal preference, but we do not watch much actual television. Also, bigger towels over all.

Disliked: That the front desk lady was upsetting me by trying to charge me for my emotional service dog's and she doesn't understand the law I stay at alot of hotel and not once had a charge on my dogs it's was upsetting plus could not cancel my stay
