Liked: Location & room was quiet
Disliked: Elevator needed a good cleaning & fix the fan (makes a loud noise), carpet worn in halls....just needs a total facelift!!!!

Beware of night manager, Melissa!
Liked: The room was clean and had clean linens on room acceptance.
Disliked: The midnight manager (Melissa) should NOT be working with the public. I "interrupted" her during a personal phone call to ask when more food items for the "breakfast" I paid for would be brought out. There was absolutely nothing but biscuits on the food warmers available when I arrived. I stood by as she continued her personal cell phone call (I could tell by the content of the phone conversation that the conversation had nothing to do with manager duties). After waiting patiently for approximately 10 to 15 seconds she lowered the phone and abruptly and rudely asked me if she could help me. I told her that there was no food for breakfast available (this was less than 30 minutes after breakfast was started). I attempted to ask her how long it would be before more was added and she very rudely raised her voice towards me and stated that the cook was "working on it and 'it' would be ready when the cook brought it out". She made sure that all of the other diners were able to hear our conversation. It shocked me as to her response to my question. I was not upset by the absence of any food items and was asking merely to see if I should wait in my room or wait in the dining area if it was going to be soon. I told her that I was shocked at her attitude and asked when her relief was available since she was the only employee on site. She told me not to worry that her relief could "do nothing" to her. I had booked the hotel room for four nights and cancelled after the two nights I had already stayed there. She told me that she did not care what I did and who I talked to. I will never stay at another "Choice Hotel" chain if this is the type of employees they hire to deal with customers.

Not what I had hoped...
Liked: Staff was great. Parking was good as well.
Disliked: I chose it over other ones in the area believing that it was of higher quality Then was highly disappointed wished I had went with one of the lesser costly ones.

Adequate facility, good beds but...
Liked: Comfortable beds and pillows!
Disliked: Didn?t like the person?s performance managing the breakfast area. Out of coffee, out of eggs (early on) and her response was, ?You?ll just have to wait!? Unnecessarily dismissive and curt. Her demeanor tarnished my visit.

Great staff, good breakfast and...
Liked: I?ve been saying there my last 3 visits to Jackson. I?m seeing a lot of changes/improvements. I love it. New management. Yay
Disliked: I asked for a late check out and was told no. I asked even if I were a member? I was told they were short staffed and the hotel was full. Recommendation: one hour won?t make a difference. 2 If guest are sleeping in later ask if they would like to have their room cleaned.
