Great

Liked: The room was clean and comfortable. Everything worked properly. The room even had hot water, something I've had issues with at other hotels. The staff was helpful and friendly. We, and probably everyone else, were there to see the 2024 eclipse and the staff was offering eclipse glasses to everyone. The breakfast was good and saved us a trip to find something. I doubt I'll be back in the area but if I am I will certainly look at staying here.
Disliked: There really wasn't anything not to like on this trip. Everything was as it should be. I wish some of the other places I've stayed over the years were as nice.

I'd stay here again

Liked: Comfortable room: good bed, decent light for reading, wi-fi worked well. Nice and quiet: at northern edge of town, and my room was on the side opposite the highway, so no noise.
Disliked: No complaints.

Liked: We visit Huntingburg, my childhod home, a couple times per year and always choose to stay at this motel. Sam and his crew do an excellent job keeping there place in good order. We'll be back and commend this place to all who might need lodging in this area. Dave & Patty (mid-70's)

Disliked: Was charged twice one for authorization and 1 for actual charge now I have to wait to get money refunded or released

Great value with a great...

Liked: Great Mexican restaurant on the premises. Helpful check in staff. She even brought us a new remote for tv when we had trouble. Layout of property was easy.

It was nice and if...

Liked: Nice and quiet. Pretty location. Nice pool for the kids to enjoy.
Disliked: Fridge had permanent mark on inside and trash can had trash in it when arrived.
