Quality Inn Columbia Airport

Overall was satisfied with stay. Clean and comfortable room. A/C unit was loud all night. Functioned well, just loud. Wasn’t made aware until checking in that I was required to provide a $100.00 cash refundable deposit. Wasn’t informed of when and location of breakfast until just before checking out when in lobby to get coffee for on the road. Location was excellent for us. Walking distance to a Waffle House and just across road from a Hardee’s plus close to several other outlet stores. Overall everything was excellent just a couple of minor inconveniences. Would stay again and refer to others.

Disliked: Disappointed that was required to give $100.00 cash deposit at check in; with no notice at time of reservation. Air conditioner was loud all night. Wasn't made aware of breakfast time and location until shortly before checking out.

Disliked: I had to wait to check in room it was being clean but I didn't get any washcloths and ice machine was broken. And the sheet on bed was wrinkled and dingy

Disliked: They did not clean my room at all or bring clean towels. I was not impressed !!

Liked: I have pictures of a roach on the bathroom countertop. There was a blood like stain on the bed sheet. I was told my incidental deposit would take up to 10 days to be refunded. Thats too long.

Uncleanness

Liked: The location was great for shopping.
Disliked: Our room was not very clean. I had to ask for our comforters to be washed because there was make up and crusty stuff on them. I was there for 3 nights. Each morning I would see the doors wide open to the rooms they were cleaning and all comforters were set on the chair and reused. They did change the sheets. Not sure about pillow cases. There was dust on the pipes under the sink in the bathroom. Bathroom door didn't open all the way because of the shower curtain. And when we moved the bed closer to the wall for my girls, there was sticky stuff like spilled soda all over. I will say we were in room 219. The smell of weed was every where. We had to block the door with a blanket. The breakfast was limited. 3 bagels. 3 pieces of toast. I was down there on a Saturday at 7am. There looked to be repairs being done to the sewage system and thats all you can smell. You do get what you pay for. Made a mistake and will never be back. And I will say, I was not born with a silver spoon. I have been to many low quality places. I'm just thankful there were no bed bugs.
