There were no frills to the actual room but it was clean and perfectly acceptable for the price point we paid. I would like to mention, however, that it was advertised as 2 doubles but there was in fact only 1 double and 1 3/4 bed - a bit tight even for just 3 of us.

Liked: The breakfast included with the price of the room was a very welcome surprise and we were impressed with the variety of self-serve items - even a waffle maker we could use ourselves!

Disliked: no toilet paper in room none, for breakfast no coffee all you got hot water from machine juice machine not on, and was swarming with little flies just gave up on the breakfast , so went to town to eat.

Liked: We visited during the 2024 Total Eclipse. Hotel rooms in Vermont were unattainable, and the hotel was full. The staff had difficulties keeping up with the sheer volume of guests trying to check in, but they were pleasant. The staff worked hard and found us a room for a 2nd day. We watched the eclipse from a grassy area on the hotel grounds with 40 to 50 other guests.
Disliked: A total eclipse is a trying time for hotel personnel due to the sheer volume of guests. Despite valiant efforts by the manager and staff, they were short of staff to prepare enough rooms for the 3 PM check-in time.

Liked: Absolutely amazing. High speed WiFi. Abundant outlets. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Good water, coffee machine, towels, refrigerator, I honestly don’t know what else you could ask for.
Disliked: Hmm I really don’t have any complaints. I suppose the water temperature in the bathroom was a little confusing but not too bad once you figure it out.

Disliked: the front desk man was rude. he lied about having the room i booked. the heat was on high and couldn’t shut off. the toilet didn’t flush. the bed was uncomfortable and loud if you moved. i got stuck in the elevator and the front desk man told me to jump up and down to try to fix it. absolutely terrible experience.
