Quality Inn Christiansburg

Liked: Front desk people were very polite.
Disliked: The door to my room would not lock and then the handle broke; no elevator so had to take luggage up steps; tiny pillows.

Liked: Location worked out well. Cracker barrel next door perfect as we needed dinner. Breakfast was OK. No eggs served but still ok

Liked: Location was ok except wd prefer to be able to go to breakfast by walking inside to breakfast instead of having to enter breakfast from the outside. Good coffee. Exceptionally nice lounge/seating area for eating. Very friendly staff.
Disliked: We don’t eat carbs, so could have used more protein. Only proteins were very wet eggs (not good) and sausage.

Liked: Bed and bed linens were comfortable.
Disliked: Small towels. Poor quality toiletries. Poor room layout with the armoire in front of vanity. Perhaps the tv can be hung on the wall and the table removed to make room for the vanity.

Liked: The location, beds were comfortable and staff was friendly and helpful.
Disliked: There are 2 buildings, 1 is renovated and 1 IS NOT! We stayed in the old building. It was bad! The air conditioner is on or off, no temperature control. And I think it was filled with mold. I could barely breathe by the morning. The room was carpeted and everything just stayed damp the entire time. A couple outlets didn’t work which caused issues. The phone charger box and tv were plugged into bad outlets/didn’t work. My father stayed in the renovated side and it was clean, comfortable no carpet. The buildings are night and day.

Disliked: No shampoo in bathroom, no shelf in shower to place soap, can’t regulate shower without getting wet, broken steps. Old building

Disliked: PRICE!! I KNOW IT WAS VT GRADUATION TIME, BUT $500 A NIGHT FOR CROWDED OUTDATED ROOM WITH CRUMBLING ACCESS STAIRS IS OUTRAGEOUS. THE ONLY BRIGHT SPOT IS THAT YOUR STAFF WAS FRIEND AND HELPFUL.
