Great place to stay especially...

Liked: Easy to locate, parking on site. Tea and coffee with plenty of milk. Clean and well presented.
Disliked: Tv didn’t work.

Liked: Lovely staff, nice grounds, comfy beds
Disliked: Facilities in room were not very clean including cooking utensils, microwave, old sponge to use in the sink, couch was terrible, wifi didn’t work in rooms, heating wasn’t adequate for the space, tvs and remotes didn’t work properly most of the time.

Disliked: Far from any food options. Restaurant onsite was closed. Fridge froze all our milk.

Liked: The beds were really comfy and cosy and the hotel owners were lovely. I thought the owners handled a difficult situation very well, through no fault of their own they lost power and hot water to the hotel on the last night of our stay. The BP across the road was installing EV chargers , they were told that it wouldn't affect them but clearly it did. The owner was not able to guarantee we would get power and water back so refunded us our money and advised us to book elsewhere. She had to turn away paying customers to ensure they were not inconvenienced. My heart went out to her and either BP or the power company should compensate her IMO.
Disliked: The drains in the bathroom were a little smelly.
