Pleasant

Liked: It is generally very family friendly. Although it looks like a socialist nightmare concrete building from the outside, it is very bright and nice from the inside. Many options at the buffet.
Disliked: A carpet in the building and rooms in a family hotel is not very hygienic (as many stains from previous users show). One small elevator leads to "traffic congestions". Almost 500 NOK for an adult for the evening buffet may be reasonable if one really likes "all-you-can-eat". For us it was expensive.

Nice for a short stay

Liked: Sauna spa swim land right next to hotel and cheap for hotel guests. Breakfast was delicious
Disliked: No Ac in rooms, the fans were very bad, you had to pay for parking and swimming sauna bath separate so it wasn’t within the price of the hotel booking

Could be a 4 start...

Liked: Great place for kids. The swimming area and food is quite good.
Disliked: The rooms are… meh. Very basic and run down. Pillows and bed are not very comfortable. The room was uncomfortably hot. When I asked about A/C I was told that there is nothing they can do about it because of the weather. No mini fridge. Over priced when you have to pay an additional charge to access the pool area.

Liked: Lots of activities and entertainment to keep the kids entertained. Very big indoor water playground and lovely lounge. Breakfast was generous.
Disliked: Rooms were clean but felt old. There was a heavy petroleum smell outside of our room. Very few dining options outside of hotel that were nearby.
