Quality Hotel River Station

Exceptional

Nice hotel.

Liked: Overall a very decent hotel with lively reception and bar, especially on a weekend night, when many other places are closed (or closed early). The location is quite good. The breakfast had a good variety of food, and a nice outside terrace to enjoy.
Disliked: The room was spacious enough, but it had a roll-out 3rd bed prepared which we didn't need (only 2 people staying), and which obviously made the room feel smaller. The sound-proof of the room is terrible - I could hear each time somebody next-door was flushing the toilet.

Disliked: The bed was too small and soft. The room should have been cleaned with fresh towels supplied on a daily basis for my 3 nights stay.

Excellent stay in a comfortable...

Liked: From the moment I set foot in the hotel, the team was warm and welcoming, and that just set the tone for the entire stay. Even when I came down to get coffee early in the morning, they made time to ensure that I was comfortable and stayed on to chitchat with me for a few minutes.The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet; and it gave me a good night's rest. The breakfast had plenty of options to suit every palate, and the food was fresh and of excellent quality. The location of the hotel was just perfect for me, and it was just a short bus ride away from Gothenburg Central station. They are extending the tram services to pass near the hotel, and when that happens accessibility will improve even further.The hotel is located at the water's edge and near the pier for the local ferry.
Disliked: Nothing much except that the settings for the aircon temperature were a bit temperamental.
