Liked: The staff was very friendly, parking was easy. But aside from that, I can't recommend this hotel. I see all the great reviews, so maybe I was in an old unrenovated part of the hotel? My experience does not match the good reviews.
Disliked: My stay just doesn't match the advertised pictures. I don't know what angles those photos were taken from, or maybe the lighting just wasn't right the day I was in town, but I didn't see what those pictures depict. Our room was definitely not a recently renovated room, and it smelled bad. If you look at all the reviews I have left on Booking.com, I have never complained of smell. I know there are people who are always complaining about smells, but that's not me. So, when I say there was a bad smell in the room, there was a bad smell in the room. I could not figure out what that smell was, but it was bad. We had breakfast in the dining room the next morning, and that is where they had mattresses stacked ceiling high. They tried to hide them by placing table cloths over them, but it was pretty obvious. Also, very strange storage place for mattresses. I'm glad so many people had wonderful experiences here, and I hope you do too. But, me, I won't be back.
