Excellent location and very friendly...

Liked: The reception staff were excellent - friendly and attentive - and the location is perfect for a short stroll into the CBD and along the river. We sampled local fare at the nearby Dill Pickle Club, a very new and very stylish cocktail bar (L1, 78 St John St) created in a Japanese listening bar style. Can also recommend Metz restaurant (119 St John St) and Frankie's Coffee House (42 George St) for a good, simple brunch in a delightful 60s-style cafe.

Ok for 1 night. Room...

Liked: Great location, plenty of onsite free parking. Building looks great from the outside. Clean bathroom. Friendly and helpful receptionist.
Disliked: The whole place gives us a gloomy feel. It needs more light in the hallway and reception area. Even the room doesn't get much natural light. Dated furniture and fixture. Room decor needs improvement.

Perfect location

Liked: Location is perfect, makes walking around the city easy, the pillows and the shower were perfect. Reception were helpful with best places to eat at which are spot on! I would definitely stay again

Unpleasant

Liked: Location
Disliked: The room had a musky smell. It felt dirty . The floor had sticky residue. The shower was impossible to use. The taps were too tight to turn & water dripped constantly regardless of how tight they were closed.
