Decent place to stay

Liked: It’s clean, breakfast on time, and location is okay even if you have to rely on public transit

Incompetent staff, stinky and unclean...

Liked: The pool was great
Disliked: The staff were incompetent. It took 45 minutes to check in because they couldn’t find our reservation in the system, and then they tried to make us pay again at the desk even though we had already paid in advance because they couldn’t find it, even with our confirmation number. When we finally got to the room, it smelled terribly of body odour, the tub had huge brown spots (unclean), and the sink was clogged. The breakfast was microwaved and cold. When we left, they wouldn’t give us a receipt.

Liked: I liked the staff at the front desk, who were pleasant and efficient.
Disliked: The uneven tiles on the bathroom floor; seems a repair was made to the original and the repair was done very poorly. It made for a tripping hazard. Same thing goes for the concrete 'lip' at the threshold to the room entry from the hall.Our room was NOT cleaned after our first night (we stayed 2 nights) and nobody informed us, or asked us if we would agree, to saving money for the hotel by only having housekeeping come every 2 days. Since we only stayed 2 days, we fully expected our room to be cleaned, fresh towels to arrive, etc. after our first night. The TV was a really cheap model and delivered a horrible quality of picture, and no 'info' channel to list the channels and their content.

Liked: Great value ! The breakfast was really good with tons of different options and the saltwater pool and sauna was nice after a long day! The restaurant outside Jake’s is also one of Burlingtons best!

Disliked: cleanliness was a little sketchy. The small couch needs to be cleaned.

Liked: It was convenient. A last minute decision to stay.
Disliked: Price was a bit steep for four hours of sleep. However it was smooth and efficient.
