Basic but clean facility. Nice seeing the indoor pool open. Very prompt, polite staff! Quiet and safe parking area. We recommend the Quails Nest for a nice, inexpensive hotel close to Ozarks Amphitheater.

Disliked: Breakfast was donuts. There was no refrigerator in the room, and the bed felt like it was from the 1990s. It's not a good place for us. Lots of swimming pools if you like them. It's probably a good place if you have kids.

Disliked: The room smelled like a giant wet ashtray. The carpet was dirty and sticky. We woke up damp. The mattress was very old and sagged in the middle. The most disgusting room I've ever stayed in. We booked 3 nights and left after 1 night.

Disliked: Beds and pillows were very uncomfortable. Outlets were in weird places, not convenient. Mirror was hard to see in because of the spots. Iron only worked for half the time i needed it and then quit. Parking was inadequate on busy nights. Breakfast was poor quality . Toaster barely worked, bagels didn't taste right. Not sure if it was the bagel or if the toaster made it taste weird. Cream cheese should have been refrigerated but was kept with the shelf stable condiments. I'm easy going and not a complainer. It was just a lot of little things that added up to disappointment. Not what I expected for the price. I wouldn't stay here again.

Review of our stay

Liked: The mattress was comfortable. The bath towels were plush, and enough were provided for 2 people's use. Knowing that the facility was older, it was clean. Sometimes older facilities aren't, but some routine maintenance/upkeep could use some attention (mentioned below).
Disliked: The air conditioner made a weird gurgling noise continuously throughout the night to the point that we couldn't sleep (we almost left). Exterior doors did not lock, and anyone could access the building without a key. The door knob on our room door looks like it is about to fall off, and we could see light through the door in multiple areas. The room was very humid to the point that the sheets on the bed felt damp.
