The PERFECT place to rest,...

Liked: My three children and I had the most perfect stay here for a night in between travelling from Rotorua and on our way to the Bay of islands while having to drop one of my older girls off at the airport that evening. We were tired and I was particularly worried about generally finding my way driving and parking with our mini van...Sam, our lovely hostess, made us feel so welcomed and relaxed immediately and I need not have worried about anything! Quail Lodge is beautifully situated overlooking incredible countryside, easy to find, ample room for parking and a very easy journey to and from Auckland airport. The interior space is spotless and so comfortable, truly a home away from home. Breakfast the next day was quite simply delicious! Sam accommodated all of our wishes with a smile! In fact our stay was so lovely we have chosen to, rather than stay in central Auckland, return here again for our last two nights in New Zealand. It is not far from the city and provides precisely the peaceful, welcoming setting my children and I so appreciate. Thank you!!
Disliked: Truly we can't think of anything...IF there was space in the otherwise very well equipped kitchen ( including a microwave), it may have been nice to have been able to cook on a hob or oven but we did not suffer from this at all!!

LUXURY WITH BREATH TAKING VIEWS

Liked: Loved Samantha and Hamish. What wonderful hosts. They were so helpful. The unit was everything you could hope for.So clean, and well serviced. The beds are comfy, shower fantastic, and the view breathtaking. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.My furbabies had a blast.
