I’d consider other options. Only...

Liked: The bed was comfy. They had valet parking although you had to find someone and ask for help, so it felt like self service. The location is fantastic.
Disliked: The service level is low compared to international standards, although you will find this in most hotels in NZ. Service is not something kiwis do well. The rooms are very badly designed - showers that leak on the floor, no hooks in the bathroom, the wardrobe didn’t open properly, no seating/desk space, too many mirrors (literally on every wall, it’s gives you a headache). This is considered one of the best hotels in wellington, which highlights a lack of quality hotels in the city. Maybe get a nice air BnB.

Disliked: My shower flooded and while the maintenance guy came to “fix” it, it was not completely fixed. I had to listen to dripping all night long and the fix did not resolve the issue completely. I think the bathroom in room 125 needs attention, the ceiling looked awful and had cracks as well as water stains Not what I expected from QT No room service Menu

The good was outweighed by...

Liked: The rooms were very dark at night and the fridge in room was very quiet inside a cabinet. The bed was really soft but super comfy. The decore was lovely. It was very clean.
Disliked: There was not enough light in the bathrooms to apply make up. Our tea, milk, hot chocolate were not replenished daily which meant we had to get them to bring more up. They frequently ran out of supplies eg gin, wine, tonic, sugar in the downstairs lobby. This occured several times during our 4 day stay. Staff in the lobby bar said they hadn’t been told there was a conference on, so they didn’t have enough stock. I also think that $50 per night to leave the car at the hotel is excessive. That was an extra $200 for 4 nights. This charge is not advertised and should be.

Disliked: The showers being open needed multiple towels to dry the floor, not an issue but could see it being a hazard for someone. Also please put note pads in rooms.
