Have enjoyed the hotel before...
Liked: The hotel is quite central to everything which is great for staying in Sydney. The staff are friendly and generally helpful, the soft lighting in the room is really nice and cozy. The robes and slippers are super comfy as is the bed and other amenities like the overhead shower and bath. The Kevin Murphy products for the hair and body are such a fave and leave the hair and skin feeling silky smooth.
Disliked: Both my partner and I have stayed at the QT Sydney before and have enjoyed it which is why we decided to come back. To say we were disappointed this time around is a bit of an understatement and will be unlikely to stay again. Splinter from wooden floorboards - The room had partial wooden floorboards and the moment I took my shoes off, I got a splinter in my foot. It looked like some of the wood was getting quite old and unsafe.Room feedback - The room was right behind the elevators which you could hear going at all times. There were also noticeable soap stains in the shower which felt uncleanly.Missing robes - When housekeeping attended to our room, we found our robes were gone. As the phone in the room seemed to be broken, we placed a guest request into their online system for bathrobes but did not hear back. After dinner, we asked reception about the missing robes. Soon after, they were only able to find one robe as housekeeping had left for the day. This was fine but the second robe was never followed up. When ordering room service the next day, we again asked about the robe and they said they'll be on it but by the time we checked out, we never got another robe.Room service issues - We requested room service and had been waiting for some time. After about 30 minutes we had finally received a call to apologise and say it was going to be another 15-20 minutes. Earlier communication about long wait times would have been better rather than wondering where our food was. We'd also ordered some ice to have a drink and this had also taken some time to get to the room without any communication. We ordered room service again at around 9am for breakfast, they called to say they were out of ham for the croissant which felt unusual for a breakfast service and disappointing.

A long weekend stay to...
Liked: Beautifully appointed rooms with great ambiance. Brilliant location.
Disliked: We should have booked earlier for the spa facilities as it was booked up.

Liked: The bed was comfortable.
Disliked: Even though we stayed for 3 nights, the room was dusty and the minibar was not replenished during our stay. Also the bathrobes were removed from our room on day 2 and not returned. We didn't like having no view at all from the window, just a wall to look at.

Disliked: Rooms a little to dark( bathroom particularly)For those of us who need glasses the mirror’s are to far away to see in to .. for hair makeup etc..
