Comfortable stay in a fun,...

Liked: Fun, spacious, stylish room, very quiet (as in sound proof), great location
Disliked: No tea /only coffee facilities, lighting in bathroom (and deep basin) not great for doing make-up with middle age eyes

Great & comfortable stay whilst...

Liked: This hotel I did not know much about as booked it due to the proximity to the State Theatre as we were seeing a show...well I did not realise it was a part of the State Theatre and decorated so interestingly with the entertainment theme, lots of character! The room was great, very comfortable bed, great mini bar. The bath is for 1 person and the shower is a bit awkward as it allows a lot of water to spread out which could be annoying if you stayed longer but for out 1 night stay it was perfect & a very good price for a mid-week city stay. The French restaurant 'Parlour' downstairs was fantastic and the service was great. The upstairs restaurant 'Gowings' also nice but very slow service.
Disliked: The bathroom was very dark, hard to put on makeup on and the shower was a bit awkward.
