Pleasant
Liked: The location was perfect for us. Close to the train station was a bonus. The rooms were a good size. Staff were very friendly. I would book again, but request a different room.
Disliked: We requested a quiet room, which we were told we had, but it was in the front, so we had the busy road traffic noise. I couldn't get the tv to work, which I mentioned, but nothing was done. The sliding bathroom door wasn't easy to open/ close. The handle on the bathroom cabinet drawer kept falling off. I found a ball of tin foil under the table in the room, which proves the furniture isn't moved whilst cleaning. Breakfast, I wouldn't recommend it, for £12pp their wasn't even a cooked breakfast, just cereal, yoghurt, croissants and fruit. Plus tea/coffee

Liked: Comfortable and clean.
Disliked: Wasn't impressed by having to pay a £50 deposit,never done this before. Deposit was refunded on check out. No one inspected our room on check out so did not see the point of it.

A disappointing stay in a...
Liked: It is difficult to be positive here sadly. The location was good in terms of reachability (2 min to the train, 7 to the tube). The water pressure in the shower was also good. Other than that, the staff tried to be helpful. However, as a note of caution, they did put us in what they considered a quiet room - but if the choice is between a major artery road out the front or a train line running about 10 m away from the house out the back, there really isn't a quiet option amd earplugs a necessity. Although staff were friendly, they weren't very service-minded and/or experienced (we dealt with a different person every day). For example, even though we stayed for four nights, our key cards had to be re-cut every day as they did not manage to programme them for the entire stay. Definitely not BW standard!
Disliked: The floors/carpets were worn and pretty grimey, the bathroom hadn't been cleaned fully, there were no spare duvets/blankets (a first in any hotel!) and the staff were initially unwilling to find an extra duvet or blanket, claiming they had only as many as there were beds. The only alternative suggestion they could come up with was to move us to a different, even grimier room with really worn mattresses. Add to that the key card problems and a 'safety deposit' blocked on your credit card that hasn't yet been returned a week after the stay and the overall impression is pretty negative. The 'safety deposit' reminds me of pretty shoddy businesses that don't or only partly return the money, citing the need to repair preexisting damage one hasn't caused; needless to say, it is never nice when one feels the need to document prior damage and photograph everything upon departure. If the hotel had been new or in really good shape, it would have felt different, but when one's room door has scratched 'graffiti' on it and when the overall state is way below standard, it doesn't leave a good feeling. Our family agreed that this was a one-off experience and we will never stay here again.
