Liked: Very good value - very friendly
Disliked: Next unit watching load TV at 3am then bouncing a basketball on the floor at 6am - luckily we were up early to compete in the Regional Dragon Boating

Convenient position easy to access...

Liked: Good location and reasonably priced compared to competitors.
Disliked: The buildings are very out dated for the area and could do with a complete rebuild.

Terrible experience.

Liked: We didn't stay and still got charged.
Disliked: We were unable to stay because as I mentioned in the booking I was travelling with my 97 year old relative and we needed twin beds. she was unable to climb the 13 or so steps up to the room we were allocated, so we couldn't stay. We were given no apology or refund.

Great location but not value...

Liked: Great location, easy parking
Disliked: Waking up to whiffs of urine in the main room. The shower water instantly would not drain. Slightly intimidated by a fellow stayer sharpening his kitchen knives outside on the deck across from our unit.

Valiant effort and approprately inexpensive

Liked: We just needed a stopover on the long journey from Paihia to Russel, and looked for a cheap room. It was.
Disliked: It was basically a demountable shed, such as a road crew might use, divided into a number of units. Walls were thin and uninsulated, so when our three sets of neighbours came home at various hours we heard all their conversations.Very little space to, well, do anything at all. After a very long night it was good to get on the road.I feel for the people running a place like this. They try very hard and put in a lot of effort to keep the place clean and maintain everything in running order, but in the end they’re putting lipstick on a pig.
