Very tired looking motel, they...

Liked: I was visiting family member in hospital which was about 5 minute drive from motel. Very convenient
Disliked: The locks on inside of door, one small padbolt and a chain.

Great

Liked: Clean, quiet
Disliked: Needs a rug in the room as the floor is cold and loud , should supply natural toiletries

Very average and disappointing

Liked: The location was great, not too far from the motorway and close to a supermarket. There was a heat pump in the main room and lots of storage space in the bedroom.
Disliked: The photos on booking.com don’t marry up to what we expected or were presented with. The place is in dire need of some TLC!!! When we arrived, there were ants on one of the walls so I had to wipe the wall to get rid of them. The bedroom and the bathroom doors didn’t shut properly, either (you’d pull them shut and they’d pop open). We didn’t have any bedside lamps in our room contrary to what the photos show. We left our used towels in the shower for the cleaners to collect when they went through and they didn’t grab them so we were left with this and our tea and coffee wasn’t restocked for us from day 1. We are a family that don’t expect much but these things did disappoint us.

Met my expectations for that...

Liked: Price was great. Bed was old and hard. The rest was clean and tidy and adequate. Not suitable for people with mobility issues.
Disliked: Hard bed. Very tiny shower.

Central to town and good...

Liked: The location was very central to Takapuna shops, cafe's, resturants and activities. The motel is accross from Woolworths. There is pleanty parking and the unit is tidy and simply presented. It was clean enough.
Disliked: This is a no frills place and a little dated in some aspects.
