Pullman Rotorua

Could have been better.

Liked: Great location!
Disliked: We were not put in the room we had selected on booking.com. We find this happens way too often for our liking, especially in New Zealand and Australia. We feel we are sometimes penalised for not booking with hotels direct. I expected better from the Pullman.

Liked: The service was excellent and the staff were very nice.
Disliked: The service was excellent and the staff were very nice. However, the cleanliness could be improved. The glass outside the bathroom, especially where the towel is hung, was very dirty and seemed like it hadn't been cleaned for a long time.

Pleasant experience, but the hotel...

Disliked: The room was spacious, but the bathroom sink was located in an open area, and it got a bit noisy at night.There was no swimming pool, which is surprising for a 5-star hotel.Breakfast was average, falling short of what you’d typically expect from a hotel of this rating.

Disappointing

Liked: The city view was a car park and the room service was terrible
Disliked: Looking onto a car park was awful and it felt like no privacy and the food from room service was cold and over cooked

Liked: Location was great.
Disliked: Our bed was the most uncomfortable. We woke up every morning sore from it. Our room leaked when it rained. We mentioned it to the staff. Silicone sealer was then put around the windows etc. But the water still found it's way in through it. It rained for 4 days, so had towels down on our ledges to soak it up. Lucky we didn't have any of our luggage stored near this!
