Outstanding hotel

Liked: Excellent property and staff.
Disliked: Food at the Garden was disappointing (but service was great). Soup was lukewarm, risotto was bland, pasta was bland too.

Liked: loved the fact that the hotel was different from the standard chain hotels e.g paintings, mix of modern and antique furniture.The bed was very comfortable and the pillows first classThe staff wer helpful and smiled a lot.
Disliked: service in the Jantz restaurant. One young waiter could not explain the food to me.I found to shower flor a little slippyReading lights in bedroom could be better

Liked: Great restaurant , great cocktails, the service was amazing. The bed and pillows suited me so well, it was so comfortable. Friendly staff. The hotel was big but was so personable. So many different parts to it. On the canal and has a pretty garden view which made the room feel bright. A lovely lady a breakfast remembered my coffee and she remembered a few dietary requirement’s, I didn’t grab her name long blonde hair, that made my day and I didn’t get to tell you. Thank you .
Disliked: our room was small and dark no view for over £1700 €1990 I was taken back how expensive it was for the room I was given and it wasn’t even the cheapest. I was offered to change the room the second night which I didn’t take as I had this booked months in advance for my sisters birthday. I was then shown a room with a garden view and on the 3rd floor, it was much nicer. I was also given two free drinks. That made it for me I was happy. Thank you
