Beautiful holiday accommodation

Liked: This was the most comfortable, tranquil break. The lodge had all the facilities we needed. We enjoyed sitting outside playing board games, relaxing in front of the tv and cooking lovely meals, surrounded by trees and peace. It was just what we needed.

Very good

Liked: Location was beautiful. Amazing forest right behind with a good walk if wanted. Red squirrels were playing outside the window on the last day which was brilliant to see. It's very close to the town centre should you need anything or want something to eat .bed was comfy too.
Disliked: Bathroom was an issue. The shower box was pouring water so the shower pressure wasn't great. He did mention a 'spongy floor ' which was due to a leak underneath and was going to be repaired at some point. The sink in the bathroom drained incredibly slowly. Plus what's the need to have a bath if you can't use it. Was stated that the hot water system doesn't support that amount of hot water. So take the bath out (it was plastic and a bouncy underfoot anyway which wasn't suitable for standing on in the wet) and just have a walk in shower ? Just an idea....

Peaceful, beautiful, and cozy to...

Liked: Absolutely beautiful location - father managed to tick off one of his bucket list items of seeing a red squirrel in his hometown. Clean, good temperature, and comfortable - what more could you want? The lodge is, in one word, *cozy*. My dad is disabled & has MS, and found accessing and getting around the lodge pretty easy. The heating, even for the time of the year, was perfect for him - no matter the time of the day. Never too warm, never too cold.I had a wonderful time - it was quiet and peaceful, perfect for a couple of days away.
Disliked: Bathroom was a little small, but that’s it! My dad felt the toilet was a little inaccessible - though he’s used to having a raised seat and handle at home, so it’s not exactly something I’d blame on the property. Just a heads up for anyone else who may be looking at this property & is also disabled.

Liked: The lodge is in a lovely peaceful setting approximately 10 minutes drive from Dunoon. Very clean and comfortable and also well equipped with everything you need for your stay. We enjoyed watching the red squirrels every morning from our bedroom window and just enjoying the peace and quiet after a day exploring.
Disliked: Nothing we didn’t like.

Liked: A beautiful location, quiet and secluded but a short drive from Dunoon and any services you need. Lying in bed watching red squirrels playing was a first for me. I've been to lots of remote locations around Scotland and this was the most red squirrels I've ever seen in one place.
Disliked: No issues
