A most friendly and welcoming...

Liked: The welcome from the owners and the overall atmosphere were exceptional. I arrived from overseas in the evening and, in spite of their own family concerns on that day, the owners made sure that I was informed in advance, and that arrangements were in place for me to settle in to my room.For breakfast, a superb spread, even with fresh local kippers (to be ordered a day in advance) which, living overseas, I had not eaten for years!My room was very quiet, and there was no intrusive noise at all.
Disliked: White curtains on the windows of my room, which didn't help my jet lag and meant that I woke very early in the UK summer. But that was particular to my case, and is not a general problem.

Disliked: No Wi-fi in the bedrooms.

Liked: The Host was very friendly, professional and courteous. The location of the Hotel was perfect.
Disliked: Shame we had to leave!
