Liked: Great localization, no troubles with checkin and checkout, balcony and access to the garden.
Disliked: I could swear there was supposed to be an AC in the room but there wasn't. It was very hot. The smell in the room was weird, something like urine.

Overall the stay was lovely!

Liked: Perfect location, room space, Dutch feel, view into a garden and a large bathroom. The hologram check-in was interesting.
Disliked: Hard mattress, no fan, door kept slamming down the hall on the second floor which was startling.

Great for a city break

Liked: This was my third stay at this hotel. It is a great location. Breakfast is good. It is lovely to be able to sit in the bar/breakfast area looking over the garden. The access to hot drinks is really appreciated. Amsterdam is not a cheap city but this hotel is as good value as you find, I think. Short walk to Museumplein, to tram stops and close to Vondelpark - great for jogging.
