Great location, beautiful hotel

Liked: Great location, our train was cancelled so the ample car parking was great. Beautiful inside and very comfortable room.
Disliked: Only downside was that the layout for breakfast wasn’t ideal. Large room but all the food was squished into the corner so everyone was on top of each other to get to it. For hot food to access some of the dishes you had to stand in front of others blocking them for other people.

Liked: we had three rooms.one room was exceptionalone room was exactly as you'd expect from this type of hotelone room was below par.it's a magnificent old lady - time now for a total refurb before the others in York outclass you.
Disliked: I didn't like having to moan about what clearly is a first class establishment... but for goodness sake one room was leakier than the titanic - even the spiders were packing their bags...

Liked: Our room was everything as described on website very comfortable. The food served at the Milner was very good indeed & all the staff are so helpful & friendly would highly recommend this hotel

Liked: The hotel was beautiful and the staff were so nice, we were a 10 minute walk from york center which was ideal.
Disliked: I think the breakfast could have been better as the bacon was overcooked and I think there could have been more variety of food.

Disliked: Room & bathroom too small & no wardrobe to store luggage
