Disliked: Nothing really...we were only there 1 night and hotel provided everything we needed

Disliked: The bed was a tribble king size bed, we have travelled the world and never come across a King size bed that has 2 singles put together with no overlay to avoid feeling the edge seams all night.

We had a lovely night...

Liked: The central location is excellent and we loved being able to walk to the lake, Polynesian Pools, and bars and restaurants. We also loved the character look and features of the hotel. Our room was spacious with high ceilings and a chandelier. The period colour scheme and soft furnishings added to the vibe.
Disliked: The bathroom was a little worn with a broken floor tile and very loud fan. Everything else was great, especially the toiletries.

Exceptional place to stay in...

Liked: Staff were friendly and helpful. Decor was old world and beautifully flamboyant. The lounge was large and had cosy spaces. Overall, it is a welcoming, lovely relaxing environment.
