Liked: Friendliest staff ever. The decor was perfect. Loved the dining room and beer garden. The bedroom was nicely outfitted. Great food for dinner and included breakfast. We were on foot. The bus stop out front was super handy. Right across the street from Osborne House.
Disliked: The only negative was the room didn’t have AC. The open window and provided fan cooled us off fine.

Liked: Map location was brilliant - opposite Osbourne House Estate entrance with easy access to key local Places of historical interest. Good food and very clean and inviting Genuinely caring and attentive staff
Disliked: Being a charming old pub it was popular and so frequented by a friendly but rowdy crowd till lateWe sadly were positioned above the rear garden and it was hot so very noisy. Our room was a bit on the small side which was understandable -I was sorry I didn’t check it more thoroughly on booking com. It was a double bed , too small for my partner so I should have asked to book a King/bigger room Two light bulbs were out in the room which I felt let them down and there was no full length mirror for changing, not good for getting ready to go to a wedding as we were I should mention the tv was also a small screen and difficult to watch although good they provided one Lastly, there was basic tea/ coffee facilities but no drinking water or mini fridge which would have been a nice touch in the hotter weather

Liked: Great location, lovely pub.. pet friendly and the food was amazing.. I particularly liked the young man who was serving breakfast and I wish him all the success in his new role at the hotel.
