Liked: Very comfortable room. Nice bar / restaurant area and food was good.
Disliked: The room was on the A40 side of the hotel, so was a bit noisy. Earplugs thoughtfully provided though!

Pleasant but with some shortcomings.

Liked: Old building and well maintained.
Disliked: The room we had (No 10) was very small (10 sq m) but, to be fair, it was the only room available the day we wanted to stay. The items included in the residents breakfast deal weren’t clearly specified.

A comfortable and welcoming hotel.

Liked: The welcome was very nice by all the staff. The food and drinks we had was delicious and tasty. The parking was good. The room was very comfortable and cozy.
Disliked: The road outside was busy and being a light sleeper i could hear the traffic most of the night. It would have been nice to have a choice of a continental breakfast and cooked breakfast.
