Disappointing

Liked: Dog friendly. Food good. Beer good.
Disliked: 'Courtyard' room good set up for staying with a dog but rubbish from florist Business lying around. Rubbish trolleys wheeled past room late at night - mentioned to staff in the morning but didn't seem overly bothered. Electronic 'beep' every 30 seconds all night - seemed to be coming from a freezer room/ store. With these combined - no sleep. If you drop anything under the bed, don't bother to retrieve it - thick with dust, hair & rubbish. Food good but breakfast lacked quantity.Offered a discount via the Butcombe app, this didn't work so there was no discount. No, definitely wouldn't stay again.

A really enjoyable experience, great...

Liked: The staff were welcoming and went out of their way to make everything perfect.
Disliked: Lovely hotel, comfortable accommodation and great location. Excellent dinner and fabulous choice for breakfast.

Very good

Liked: Excellent location and a warm, friendly atmosphere.
Disliked: Restaurant was closed due to staff shortages with all meals served in the bar area. A limited evening menu to choose from.

Excellent hotel

Liked: Really nice hotel with excellent breakfast at the top of the hill in Burford
Disliked: Only hard thing was parking! Rest was great
